In Service to your Health....

I consider it my good fortune to be able to support others in seeking better health and wellbeing. I strive to provide the highest standard of care and to create a safe space for people of all ages, stages, backgrounds and identities. I am constantly, and sometimes voraciously, increasing my knowledge in the field of Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and contemporary biomedical practices so that I can best serve you, my clients.

I have been exploring yoga, meditation, qi gong, herbal medicine and holistic nutrition (basically all things holistic!) formally and informally since my teens. When I was 18, I began practicing a traditional lineage of qi gong under a master who was also a 23rd generation physician of Chinese Medicine. This opened my eyes to the beauty and potency of the Chinese Medicine and its Daoist roots that seek to keep the internal systems of the body harmonized with each other, the individual harmonized with their community and environment, and humans harmonized with Nature. Only through harmony can we shine in health.

I completed my training in Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine at Pacific Rim College. In addition, I studied at Kootenay Columbia Collage  in Nelson, BC and spent my first year in practice serving rural communities in Nepal with Acupuncture Relief Project. Back on Vancouver Island, I joined a very busy clinic and worked along side a senior practitioner before launching my own practice in 2019. I have also practiced in Bali, Indonesia and India.

Prior to working with Chinese Medicine, I completed a B.A. in Women and Gender Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder and spent many years living and volunteering in India.  As a gardener in India, I tended many sacred and medical plants and taught organic gardening courses. I am passionate about loving and serving Nature and using Chinese Medicine as a tool for reawakening and kindling our inherent connection to Nature.
